Trivia

  • The area the Beast's Den is in (and the accompanying Stag Station) is named "Distant Village," suggesting that Deepnest (or at least part of it) might have once been a civilization like Dirtmouth or the City of Tears.
    • The presence of dead light fixtures and the existence of a Stagway and a (half-complete) Tram also give credence to this theory.
    • If a village did exist, its downfall happened at some point before The Last Stag worked in the Stagways.
  • This is the second opportunity the player has to abandon Zote the Mighty and earn the Neglect Achievement.
  • A room in Weavers' Den is filled with needles and thread, and the in-game files have it named "hornet_room". The corpses in the Den mention the "princess." This all implies that this room is, in fact, where Hornet stayed while under the care of Herrah.
